The Curriculum
Awana helps you build a family discipleship strategy for ages 2-18 with the following core curriculum components.
Puggles (2-3 years)
Puggles teaches toddlers basic truths about God and equips parents to practically reinforce these truths throughout the week. T&T (3-4 Grade)
T&T takes students on a journey by answering their questions about God and the Bible while guiding them to grow in Christ’s love and live out their faith. |
Cubbies (Pre-K)
Cubbies displays the greatness of God's character to preschoolers who are constantly asking questions! Trek (Middle School)
Trek invites students to wrestle with the three questions they are facing: "Who am I, why am I here, and who's with me?" |
Sparks (K-2 Grade)
Sparks ignites a child’s curiosity to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. Journey (High School)
Journey illustrates what is really expected of a follower of Jesus and mobilizes students to impact the world for Christ. |

Building Your Team
Determining Who You Need
Determining Who You Need
Assembling a team of volunteers is a critical part of establishing your Awana ministry. On average, Awana volunteers spend 1.5-2 hours each week serving kids. Depending on the size of your club and the resources available to you, the number of leaders or volunteers you need will vary. Your program could be as simple as you and two small group leaders, or as complex as 100+ volunteers with varying responsibilities and roles. No matter where you fall on that spectrum, Awana can still work for you.
Start Small
That's it! Small Group Leaders keep track of their kids progress. You and the Small Group leaders can lead Game Time and rotate who teaches the Large Group Lessons. More People...
