Super Special Keynote Speaker: Awana CEO Valerie Bell!
Valerie Bell is an award-winning author, global children’s activist and sought-after speaker. From a young age, a core piece of Valerie’s identity is her call and role as an advocate for children and families. In 2011 Valerie joined Awana, bringing her leadership, calling and passion to join the efforts of Awana in reaching 10 million children by 2020.
A published author of eight books, Valerie’s themes include the legitimacy of children’s spirituality, encouraging the foundational trusting relationships between children and parents and how children’s faith is shaped. Prior to Awana, Valerie worked with The Chapel of the Air, The Global Bag Project and MOPS International where she served on the board and as Board Chair. Valerie married to Steve Bell, and are the parents of two grown sons—Brendan (Kailee) and Justin (Angie)—and the adoring grandparents of Rowan, Rhys, Merrick, Griffin, Elise and Dean Bell. |
